Customer Advisory – COVID 19 Update: Latin America (Part 3)

Current updates for Latin America are as follows:
El Salvador: Yesterday, March 18, 2020, the government of El Salvador announced the first case of COVID 19. To reduce the spread of COVID 19 the government has implemented additional security measures, ordering the closure of maquilas / factories and call centers for the next fifteen days.
On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, El Salvador declared a State of Emergency for thirty days. There are no restrictions on cargo flow, but medical supplies will be given priority. Further, the airports will be closed for fifteen days to facilitate arrival of medical supplies.
