Customer Advisory – Disruption to Chicago Rail Terminals
June 2, 2020
Pleased be advised that several Chicago-area rail terminals will be closed overnight due to continued social unrest in the Chicago-area and the resulting curfew enacted by the state of Illinois.
Please see below the list of terminals closures:
- UPRR: Dolton, IL Intermodal terminal, Domestic — North/South
- CSX: 59th Street
- NSRR: 47th and 63rd Street
Customers are encouraged to monitor terminal closures and changing operations, as well as impacts to freight. Please check with individual terminals for specific hours of operation.
The Triangle Group, our Los Angeles-based transload partner, has adjusted their operations to align with the Los Angeles County curfew (effective Monday June 1). Triangle is locking-down yards from 18:00 – 06:00 PT until further notice.
