Customer Advisory: Vessel Delay & Equipment Shortage – China

There have been some vessel delays and critical equipment shortage at the main ports of Ningbo, Shanghai and Tianjin lately. These were mainly caused by ports congestion, bad weather, changes to ocean traffic control and carrier vessel string adjustments.
We understand that the vessel’s late departure at these ports will impact ETA, and empty containers which cannot be picked up on time might cause delayed shipments as well. We will continue to monitor the situation, work closely with carriers for release of equipment and update as necessary.
