Customer Advisory: Advisory on Myanmar’s Situation – Update #1
Myanmar is currently under State of Emergency and curfew has been imposed on all households and truckers between 8pm and 4am. As of date of Advisory, there have been disruptions in the container trucking industry and port operations.
Please refer to statuses below:
- All truckers have stopped operations
- Carriers are able to release booking confirmations depending on space/ container availability
- Shipping Agency Department (S.A.D) under Myanma Port Authority is closed until further notice
- Pick-ups of empty containers from container yard not available until the agents from S.A.D are back to work
