Customer Advisory: BNSF Derailment in New Mexico

On Monday afternoon, June 14, BNSF experienced a derailment at Marmon, New Mexico, on the Southern Transcon line – the main route between Southern California and the Midwest.
BNSF restored service to both tracks Tuesday night. However, customers should expect 24-48 hr. delays due to the high volumes to/from Southern California and Phoenix until operations have fully normalized.
As the pent-up inbound volumes begin to flow through the network, facilities in Chicago and Memphis may be challenged.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will send updates as necessary.
