Customer Advisory: Update 6 – Canadian Labor Strike Announced

As reported in the media, Canada’s Minister of Labour, Seamus O’Regan, has intervened in the Canadian West Coast labor dispute between the ILWU Canada and the BCMEA, affecting the ports of Vancouver and Prince Rupert. The federal mediators involved in the negotiations are expected to provide their recommendations for a settlement by the end of the day Wednesday.
