Customer Advisory: Latest Update on Typhoon Yagi’s Impact in Vietnam
APL Logistics would like to provide you with an update regarding our operations at our CFS warehouses in Hai Phong.
Due to the ongoing fluidity of the situation, we encourage all interested parties to bookmark this link to periodically check for the latest updates regarding the status of our operations in the region.
Update #3 : September 11, 2024
• GLC: There is no new update since our previous advisory. As conveyed, the GLC facility sustained minor damage and is currently undergoing repairs. Operations fully resumed at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
• Pan Hai An (PAN):
• Due to heavy rainfall which has continued for the past two days, it is currently unsafe to continue repair works at the facility, particularly those that require personnel on the roof.
• Outbound operations have resumed as of 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
• Inbound operations and receiving have resumed with limited capacity.
Update #2 : September 11, 2024
• GLC: There is no new update since our previous advisory. As conveyed, the GLC facility sustained minor damage and is currently undergoing repairs. Operations fully resumed at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
• Pan Hai An (PAN):
• Due to heavy rainfall which has continued for the past two days, it is currently unsafe to continue repair works at the facility, particularly those that require personnel on the roof.
• Outbound operations have resumed as of 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
• Inbound operations and receiving are temporarily on hold until further notice. The safety of our team is our top priority, and we will resume repair work once it is safe to do so.
Update #1 : September 10, 2024
We are pleased to report that both of our CFS warehouses in Hai Phong — Pan Hai An (PAN) and GLC — have resumed operations as follows:
• GLC: The GLC facility sustained minor damage and is currently undergoing repairs. Operations fully resumed at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
• Pan Hai An (PAN): The PAN facility also sustained minor damage and is undergoing repairs. Loading operations resumed at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, with full operations expected to resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Regarding port operations, please see the latest updates below:
• HICT: ICT/Lach Huyen operations resumed at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024.
• HPH Port (River Port): Tan Vu and Chua Ve terminals resumed operations at 6:00 AM on Monday, September 9, 2024.
• Nam Dinh Vu: Operations resumed at 6:00 AM on Monday, September 9, 2024.
• Tan Cang 128 Port: Operations resumed at 12:00 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024.

APL Logistics wishes to inform you about the impact caused by Super Typhoon Yagi on our facilities in the Hai Phong area. The typhoon made landfall on Vietnam’s northeastern coast on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
We are pleased to report that all staff members and their families are safe.
Both of our CFS warehouses in Hai Phong—Pan Hai An (PAN) and GLC—were affected by the typhoon. We are currently assessing the condition of our facilities and gathering accurate information. Power, internet, and water supply have been restored. Our GLC warehouse resumed operations on the afternoon of Monday, September 9, 2024. The PAN warehouse is still under assessment. We will provide further updates as they become available.
In response to this situation, our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) has been activated in accordance with established protocols. This plan aims to swiftly restore operations, facilitate service recovery, and resume all essential business functions. We are actively working to restore standard operations and minimize any impact on your supply chain.
Current Port Operations:
• HICT: ICT/Lach Huyen operations are suspended until further notice.
• HPH Port (River Port): Tan Vu and Chua Ve terminals resumed operations at 06:00 AM on Monday, September 9, 2024.
• Nam Dinh Vu: Operations resumed at 06:00 AM on Monday, September 9, 2024.
