Customer Advisory: Update 4 – ILA Strike Begins at East & Gulf Coast Ports

The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) strike began at 12:01 AM, October 1, suspending operations at 14 major ports across the U.S. East and Gulf Coasts, from Maine to Texas. This ILA strike is the first since 1977 and is expected to significantly impact the movement of various goods, potentially resulting in inventory shortages across supply chains.
