Customer Advisory: Severe Congestion & Delays at Port of Vancouver

Please be advised that the Port of Vancouver, Canada, is currently facing severe congestion and delays in freight movement. This situation is due to several factors, including labor shortages and ongoing freezing weather conditions, which have slowed down rail deliveries and increased import volumes.
The demand for anchorages at the Port of Vancouver has exceeded availability, with some carriers reporting delays of 15 to 20 days or greater. These disruptions are affecting the movement of cargo. Port authorities are actively working to alleviate the congestion, but shippers should expect continued delays.
