Customer Advisory: Update 7 – Canadian Labor Strike
July 13, 2023,
The labor strike for the ports of Vancouver and Prince Rupert in Western Canada came to an end on Thursday as the ILWU Canada and the BCMEA agreed on a tentative four-year contract. The agreement is subject to ratification by both parties, and the ports are now working towards resuming normal operations. The marine terminals at both ports will be open for the Thursday evening shift.
